International Coaching Week: Explore Coaching

EXPERIENCE COACHING

If you've ever wondered: "what is coaching?", "how could it help me achieve my goals?", or "what's coaching like?" this is a perfect event to learn more and experience coaching for free.

As part of International Coaching Week, the International Coach Federation (ICF) Edmonton Chapter is pleased to host an event for the public to experience coaching and have an opportunity to connect with professional coaches from our Edmonton Chapter.

AGENDA:

6:30pm: Doors open to public

7:00pm: Program
- Introduction by Kevin Tomkins, ICF Edmonton Chapter President
- Welcome from Bryan Schultz, President & Founder, Easy Next Steps (Gold Sponsor)
- The Neuroscience of Coaching: Sarah Thomas and Kathleen Cameron share how neuroscience reveals why coaching works.
- Demonstration of speed coaching, and instructions for the Coaching Experience opportunity.

8:00pm: Coaching Experience - 15-minute, speed-coaching sessions
Get paired up with a professional coach for a laser coaching session. Bring one specific goal - personal or professional - you'd like to be coached on for 15-minutes. This free experience will give you a taste of coaching and get you started taking action steps towards your goal.

COST:

There is no cost to attend, but we encourage you to make a cash donation at the door to Telus World of Science Youth Program (tax receipt available).

Telus World of Science Edmonton has generously donated their beautiful space for hosting this event and we want to support the important work they do in the community opening minds and creating learning opportunities.
